Following an industry conference this past weekend, Lions Direct Limited are re-evaluating their leadership coaching to help their contractors to progress their business development.
Lions Direct Limited was among a number of sales and marketing companies invited to attend the event. Held in the UK’s capital on Sunday, September 23rd, sales and marketing professionals from across the UK descended on London for the conference.
The conference was held at the 4-Star Novotel London West, with delegates gathering in the Champagne Terrance for the 10 a.m. start time. The itinerary for the day commenced with an inspiring and motivating opening, involving industry promotions. “It’s always really inspiring to see people being rewarded for their hard work and it instils a sense of urgency to achieve your own goals,” commented Mr Nosal.
After the morning session, attendees were split into two groups to attend bespoke seminars. The first group comprised of rookies. They heard from six guest speakers, including award-winning entrepreneurs and business owners at the top of their game. Each speaker covered a specialist topic including; capitalising on the business opportunity, field sales, business foundations, goals: input v output, entrepreneur v employee mentality and fast track to leadership.
The second group comprised of those with more industry experience. They were addressed by six guest speakers who covered the following topics: how to have important conversations, goals, day one to working solo, working autonomously to assuming a leadership role, how to develop leaders and common concerns.
After attending the conference, CEO at Lions Direct Limited, Kamil Nosal has been re-evaluating the firm’s leadership coaching. “Having the opportunity to hear from people who have experience scaling a business and assisting and nurturing people to develop their leadership capabilities, some of the information was very intriguing and has made me re-evaluate our leadership coaching,” commented Mr Nosal.
The entrepreneur believes it’s vital to be open to change and new ways of doing things. “Hearing from some of the most successful people in the industry, and how they do things, naturally I’m going to act on their advice and implement any changes that I think will benefit both our people and the business,” commented Mr Nosal.
